Has anyone eaten at Chef Nobu's in NYC?

I know he has multiple restaurants in NYC....has anyone eaten there? I am considering making it my b-day dinner place since he seems like such a talented chef and I would love to see the fushion of japanese and other cultural foods.

Nope.

I don't think you'd ever make a pre-meditative effort to set your feet towards the direction of Nobu. I'm not even sure that you'd make it to NYC. I don't buy any of your rabble rouser posts here.

BTW, since you voiced out against a food and restaurant board here in Fodors on what you claim that there are tons of food blogs and forums in the net, do a google search instead.

They lost their Michelin star in the 2007 edition.

I am sorry that you feel that way. I like to do a lot of research and then I print everything out before I go.

thanks anyway.

Suerich68--thank you for the suggestion---I can't believe I didn't think of that seeing as all I hear about on the radio on the weekend in the Michelin guide! I will check it out and see what they say.

I've decided to settle on Les Halles since it is more affordable and may be better suited for a solo traveler. also, it would remind me of last year's bday in Paris. Woo hoo!
