Harrah's or Harvey's Lake Tahoe?

We'll be staying in Tahoe for a couple nights in July. Does anyone know which hotel has the nicest, newest rooms, Harrah's or Harvey's?

Hi Cancuck, my various family members always prefer Harrah's versus Harvey's..but I don't think you would be unhappy at either hotel.

I think Harrah's has better rooms, but I've never stayed at Harvey's. Check: www.tripadvisor.com

They are under the same ownership and more rooms at Harveys have been renovated more recently than at Harrahs. That being said - it is really 6 of 1/half dozen of the other.

On Trip Advisor, they are #1 and #2 (Harrahs 1st) out of 11 hotels/ inns in Stateline, NV. Both well rated and they are connected.

Thanks for the replies. I think we'll try Harvey's, I took trippinkpj's advice and checked tripadvisor and found their rooms are more recently remodeled.
Thanks again

I would do Harrah's and go over to Harvey's to gamble. Across the street from one another but the rooms are alot nicer at Harrah's..
South Tahoe is so beautiful and alot of fun...
Best to you..
