I came across the fact that there is a Comfort Inn in Harper's Ferry. I believe that their web site is: www.chiocehotels.com.
Hope this helps!

DS, Thanks for the help.
I thought this was the name of the hotel we stayed at around 7 yrs ago when we did the bike ride from Harper's Ferry, down the old C&O Canal Path to DC. 61 miles of beautiful, historic country.
I'll give them a call.
As for the response from
"J. ([email protected]), I really doubt you could have helped me at all if my small attempt at humor could upset you so! But thanks for taking the time to write! /:^)

Hello b'rider,
I did that ride a few years back, too. You are right. It is a great ride. Harper's Ferry is surreal at about 5:00 a.m.!
I'd hope you all have better luck than we did. We went on July 2nd, so we could spend the 4th of July in DC.
It was nice in the morning but when it got to be the afternoon, it was about 90 degrees and 95% humidity. Can you say "Hydrate"?
There is a B&B, The Carriage House right near the Comfort Inn. You may want to check the Harper's Ferry NHP wesite for "links".
Good luck. We may try it again in July. Some people never learn!

I was in Harper's Ferry about 3 weeks ago. Because it was the height of the "change in leaves" the prices were considerably higher in Harper's Ferry. We chose Winchester, VA but also looked at Martinsburg, West, VA. Both locations are just minutes from HF. DC was our main destination, so we only spent one day in the HP area, but it was so pretty.
