Pittsburgh Restaurant for a Group

I'm looking for advice for a Pittsburgh restaurant which can accomodate a large (30 person) group. We are not looking to spend a lot of money. Looking for most entrees around $12-15 per person. Thanks for any input!

Ideally Station Square because we want to go up Mt. Washington after. Downtown is a possibility - we could take the subway over.

Thanks.

I second the Station Square idea. I personally would recommend the Cheese Cellar as I love their fondue (beer or wine). There are several restaurants in SS so you can take a little walk around and see which one you'd like.

Well, having a group of 30 strolling around checking out restaurants is sub-optimal. As you might have guessed, there is a stationsquare.com and the phone numbers are listed at the link below. I would ask for a group discount.

Cheese Cellar is good but I'm pretty sure you can't make reservations there and w/30 people that could be a challenge....Gandy Dancer is cheaper than the other part/Grand Concourse..another idea is Mt Washington..at the other end of Station Square(at the end of Chevy Amp/theater) is another incline(and used to be you needed exact change..something like $1.25,may have gone up)you can ride to the top and there is a rest. called Grandview Saloon(.com)..the view is awesome...good food..outdoor deck dining and indoor close view...not sure of reservations..but much better viewing, IMO..there are other rest. there but $$$..Hard Rock, etc at Station SQ too..also the Gateway Clipper Riverboat..if you like a cruise and food or entertainment..
