"Guppie" re bookings
I have ALWAYS booked thru an Agent - but mostly that was before internet.
We now want to goto Kauiai and B/I - found flights etc - hotels - car rentals -
worried abt travel times between K & B/I must go thru Hono.
How much time should we allow b'tween flights kau to kon
Should we go Sept after Labor Day, or in Oct - after Ironman on B/I
thanks

Hawaiian Airlines allowed us to book a very short connection between Kona and Lihue, I think it was 30 minutes. It was tight. We were a few minutes late landing in Honolulu, and basically ran to our gate and go on our connecting flight. I guess I would probably risk it again, because Hawaiian said it was okay, and if we didn't make it they would just put us on the next flight anyways.
The weather was great in September. If you are thinking of taking a Napali boat cruise, I think it is less rough on the north shore of Kauai in September.
