Great Travel in South Texas
It's true that Texas has some of the friendliest people and I've found that the further south the better.
Take a look at the new Corpus Christi site at:

You can find out what's going on every weekend and book your trip online!
Safe travel,
C.

Corpus is approximately 150 miles north of South Padre Island. It will be a little colder there than the island. If you haven't booked a condo yet, it will be very hard to do so, unless you luck out with a cancellation about Christmas time. We have to book a year ahead for Jan. & Feb. We stay at Sunchase Beachfront on the gulf side. There is also the bay side which is less expensive. You would love the riding and hiking on the undeveloped end of the island - nothing but huge sand dunes and shells. Check out SPI on the search engines.

I love Texas
The valley and Corpus Christi are for sure the best places to visit.
Texas diservs more credit than it gets.
I live in Canada and people here always talk bad about it.
Funny thing is most of them haven't even been across the border.
I think Texas should be promoted more.
once you visit you will never take a vacation in Florida again!
