Great Show in Boston

Greetings all!
Just wanted to recommend a show playing through mid-August at the American Reperatory Theatre in Cambridge. George Gershwin Alone is a one man show starring Hershey Felder which features biographical information and music of the G.G. If interested, you can get more info at www.amrep.org . I saw it last weekend, and found it totally engaging; what a dynamic performance!
Also had a fantastic pre-show dinner at Casablanca. Wow! The food was fresh, prepared to order, and delicious, and the waitstaff friendly, efficient and attentive.

Beth, thanks for reminding me. I've been intending to see it, and today I checked for ticket availability online. They seem to have good seats for this weekend's matinees, so I'm hoping to go.

Are there any other restaurants in the area?

It's just outside of Harvard Square. There are plenty of restaurants! What would you like?

I saw the show yesterday and it was terrific, or s'wonderfull!!! I'm so glad Beth reminded me to get tickets which were easy to buy online. They even discount the price to make up for the annoying online service charge. I figured we were on the younger side of the audience when those around us knew the words to the verses of the songs and I only knew the chourus (and I'm in my early 50's). But this is not an old fogie show. It's a delightfull, educational show about Gershwin's life and times (and music). It was announced that the show has been extended again, though I don't know for how long. If you're going to be in Boston this summer, you should try to see it.
