Grantham Resorts Kauai
Has anyone stayed at the properties rented by Grantham resorts? Any comments (good or bad)? My family of 11 is looking to rent the Lanai Beach House & guesthouse across the street from Baby (Kona) Beach in May. Just looking for any reviews of the company.
Thanks

We stayed at one of their properties this past April. "Ocean Delight" was the name of the house.
As you probably already know Grantham Resorts has many properties that they contract out. They are very easy and friendly to do business with. I plan on using them again, but I will note this. First off they expect full payment 90 days before you get there. Which isn't a huge deal, but you might want to invest a few $$$ in travel insurance just in case. We got to the island a few weeks after they had major storms and a damn breaking. All the reports from Grantham were that the property was okay, however when we got to the house it looked like the house sustained minor water damage to the garage and on of the bedrooms on the first floor. They replaced the carpet before we got there, but they still should have said something.
Also when you get there, you will pick up your keys at your car rental agency, but I would recommend stopping by their main office in Kaloa Town before you leave. They have maps of their properties, prices, etc. So if you come back to Kauai you can see what you are renting next time. The website doesn't do some of these homes justice.
