We did a float trip down the Snake River when we were there a few summers ago. It is not white-water type rafting, but more calm and you look at the wildlife, etc. Our guide was great with our kids who were around 10 and 13 at the time. However, I can't remember the name of the company that we used! There are a few companies to chose from. I do remember that ours left from the Signal Mountain Lodge, so that may be a way to track down which company it was. We LOVED Grand Teton. Have fun!!

You need to check tours out of Jackson, you meet at the office then get bussed south of town. Class 2 type rapids our family included 10 year old who loved it. I'm having trouble remembering the name of the rafting company but search via yahoo for Jackson rafting company. In Jackson you will see many flyers for these trips. Many good ones. The national park tours inside the park are float trips, we took it from the Jackson Lake lodge . theyre nice but the white water trips are much better. We also LOVE the TETONS
