Great move by US Customs! Why let these items sit around going to waste...

A fantastic idea. Thinking outside of the box. Maybe we could do the same thing with "Lost Luggage" instead of contracting it out to that mega lost luggage store in the mid south where ever that store is. "Lost Luggage" has far more usable goods than confiscated things.

...as long as it isn't luggage lost by the people who pack their old undies to toss during their trip to free-up space.

How funny Citylights. Keep your undies over your head where they belong.

I saw a news report about this here in California. also. Customs inspectors have been busy here lately going after counterfeit goods and those who sell them, so I'll bet that their warehouses are full. What a great idea.

Think about it, thousands of people in the south walking around with knock-off Pradas & Louis Vuittons. I love it!
