Good restaurants in Leominster/Worcester Mass.

Any suggestions on decent restaurants in Leominster or Worcester? Steak house, seafood, ethnic?

In Worcester, 111 Chop House is outstanding - make reservations. The same people own The Sole Proprietor - obviously seafood - very good, make reservations there as well. Also in Worcester, Sahara Restaurant - great Middle Eastern food. In Leominster the best place is The Monument Grill - excellent food. The Border Cafe is pretty good mexican food in Leominster.
After this you end up with a lot of chain restaurants. If you're looking for a real casual place, Jackie's Dairy Bar in Leominster has great seafood and onion rings (along with all kinds of sandwiches, meals, ice cream). It's a place where you order at the counter and they call your number.

Hope these are a start.

I'll "second" hockeymom's suggestions, and add Barber's Crossing in Worcester. I've also heard good things about the El Camino in Leominster. If you like Italian food, Monti's (on Central St. by Gariepy Furniture) in Leominster is good too.

Monument Grill is wonderful. You'll forget you're in Leominster!
