Good Restaurant in LA
Hi folks,
I need to organize a 1-day business meeting during the second week of March in Los Angeles with a dinner the night before. Are there any good hotels near LAX where the group (about 15 people) can stay and I can arrange the dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants. If not, separate recommendations for hotel near the airport and a restaurant will do.
Thanks.

I have stayed at both the Marriott and the Hilton by LAX several times. They both seem to have higher end restaurants, but I haven't tried them for dinner as we always go out for a casual meal.
Both of these hotels seem to have been ultimately designed with business travelers and conventions in mind, so I'm sure you'll find that either one will work quite nicely.

I vote for The Hacienda Hotel <www.haciendahotel.com/>
They are very European in decor and ambience and I'm told the restaurant is very good. Free shuttle to and from the restaurant - they will also shuttle you to the beach or down the street to a small mall. Ask for the south-tower rooms. $59 - a real bargain for the area. We put all our clients up there. If you don't want to dine there, you can go a couple miles away to P.F. Changs, Houston's, The Daily Grill - all on Rosecrans Avenue.
