Good place for Halloween besides Salem?

Looking for a 1-4 night mini-trip on any part of the east coast for some Halloween fun. I have done Salem and am not interested in NYC.

Nothing is more fun than the Halloween Parade in Greenwich Village, NEW YORK CITY.

Sorry you have no desire to join us this year.

That could be spooky if they have moved New Orleans to the east coast. I have some friends who went to Savannah for Halloween and really enjoyed it. Does anything special go on in Provincetown for Halloween?

Asheville, NC is always interesting at Halloween. The witches from Coven Oldenwilde and others all get together to dance downtown. They used to dance in Pack Square, but have since moved to Pritchard Park, a couple of blocks up Patton Ave.

In Keene New Hampshire--there is a pumpkin display that is in the Guiness Book of World Records. Thousands of lighted pumpkins in a huge pile as well as lining Main Street (the widest Main Street in the US according to some). It is amazing.

I actually really like the idea of Keene, I did some research and it looks something I would enjoy. The festivities are on the 27th so I think we will go and see everything. Universal stands as a second it just depends on if dh can get enough time off to be there on halloween if so I think we will head there too.
