Phoenix Pasta is wonderful. You can get your choice of any variety of fresh pastas. They are on Bonarin Berkeley. They also sell ravioli, sauces and some cut fresh pastas at the Saturday Farmers Market in Berkeley.

You might also check out The Pasta Shop on College in the Market Hall com-plex. This is where I buy fresh pasta sheets for lasagna. They also have a small cheese and a more extended(upscale) deli. This is where I go to buy very good salami, ham, marinated mushrooms and the like. I always want to like their pre-made food selections more than I do.

Another place for meats (organic) and very good quality is Cafe Rouge Meat Market on Fourth Street in Berkeley. You can also check out the meat counter at Star Grocery on Claremont.

Berkeley has such great food. I miss my college days!

YOU MUST VISIT ZACHARY'S PIZZA on College Avenue.
Dont ask questions - just go. Trust me. Order their Spinach and Mushroom pizza even if you hate Spinach and Mushrooms.

On the northside of campus, on Shattuck, there are a couple of Thai restaurants that are awesome. I forget their names, but they are right next to each other.
