Golfers will flock to Florida

A proposed revision to the rules of golf is being sought in southern Florida. At issue: changing the traditional call of "Fore!" to "Gore!" If a player accidentally makes a bad shot, he can call "Gore!" while the ball is still in flight. The player then replaces the ball in the same spot and hits it again. The player can do this repeatedly until he is satisfied that the ball is going where he intended to hit it in the first place. This will, in turn, cause the time of play to be extended until such time the player can claim the hole. The revision is causing some consternation to the PGA, but proponents say it's only fair. They point to a recent test of the new rule played out in an exclusive club in Palm Beach County, Florida, where the first hole took only seven days to complete...
