Ghost Towns near Houston, Texas
Hi!
I am going to Webster, TX to visit my sister and REALLY want to go to a ghost town! Any suggestions? There seem to be a lot to choose from but I am overwhelmed! PLEASE send great suggestions!

We have been going to Houston to visit our son for about 10yrs and have never visited a ghost town, actually until your post, have never heard of one. I did Google and you're right there seems to be a lot of them. If you have the time, I would choose one in Hill Country, only because Hill Country is a great area, especially if you're there in the spring when the bluebells are in bloom. Post a report when you return!

Hill Country is really lovely..Luckenbach. Tx. comes to mind, not quite a ghost town, as there is a bar and limestone buildings that Mr. Luckenbach built but of interest historically and you can sing along with Waylon, Willy and the boys if you have the CD.
