GC, Zion, Bryce

Thanks for all of the help in our planning. You've helped a lot.
I heard about jeep tours, but are those only in Sedona? We weren't planning to go there. Looking for something unforgettable for the kids (10 & 15). Will do some hiking wherever we go, but anything else we must do? Thought of Lake Powell but we're traveling in April and thought it might be cold. We're doing a big circle out of LV and back again.

The month of April will probably be pretty unpredicatible as far as the weather goes. Page, AZ, Sedona and Zion are at a lower elevation of around 4,000 ft and will get the warmer weather. Grand Canyon is at 7,000 and Bryce at around 8,000.

If you have nice weather I would highly recommend the float trip on the Colorado River out of Page, AZ.

I know there are other jeep tours in the area. I've never done any but I found this one out of Kanab, Utah.

Utahtea, You are the best. I just viewed their site and found it quite interesting. They show four tours from 2 hours/20 min to 4 hrs/20 min. $47.00 to $125.00 per person + tax.

We'll probably do one of the shorter tours after leaving the North Rim for Zion.

ronk,

Just remember I haven't never been on any of their tours, but I'd like to hear how it goes when you get back.

Utahtea, Thank you. They sound pretty good. I'm going to post a new question asking if anybody has any experience with that company.

Utahtea,
I understand, but were it not for your info, I would not have thought of doing it. Their website looks good.
