GC S. Rim - Weather in October?

We will be visiting the Grand Canyon South Rim during the second week in October and would appreciate if anyone can advise what the weather/temperature is like at that time of year. Thanks for your help!

We were there around the 8th of October a few years back and it was perfect. Warm with a thundershower that blew thought for excitement. No crowds what so ever!

We were there last October. It was pleasant during the day ... high 60s/low70s and very cool in the evenings ... it went down into the low 40s, so bring a warm fleece jacket and you should be all set.
