Fun Tahoe Restaurants, Bars

Any suggestions for good nightlife, fun dining spots in Lake Tahoe area. We will mostly be located in South Tahoe but have a car. Looking to do one or two nice meals, probably considering Plumpjack or Fire & Ice -- any input?

Thanks!

While it may not fall under the category of 'nice' meal and while i fully and totally realize it's a chain there's a teeny tiny Hard Rock Cafe in Tahoe. Maybe a last resort but i think it's the only Hard Rock we've been to with a fireplace?

Plumpjacks in Squaw Valley is nice but you don't have to drive that far. Try Evans near Camp Richardson or Cafe Fiore.

Here's a link to Evans which you can find a link to the Cantina which is owned by the same couple:

Here's a link to Cafe Fiore:

Wet Woodies at Garwoods. But I wouldn't plan on driving afterwards!

Yes, Patrick great choice, great view but how will they ever get back to their hotel? Get Wet Woodies at Riva Grill which is garwoods sister restaurant in south shore. Food is not as good but drinks are.

Oh, never knew about the sister restaurant, but we're always up at Northstar. You'd find us in the boat going zig zag across the water leaving Garwoods.
