Ft. Lauderdale romantic hotel for anniversary getaway?
Looking for a reasonably-priced (not over $500/night) romantic hotel on the water in Ft. Lauderdale with water views from the room, for an anniversary weekend. Won't have a car, so located near restaurants, shops, etc. would be best. Don't want a hotel that usually has crowds of families with young children, or college spring-breakers. Any recommendations? Also, if you're familiar with Ft. Lauderdale can you recommend any particular restaurants or things to do? Thanks!

Look at The Pillars Hotel. Not on the Atlantic but on the Intra-Coastal. Lovely hotel:
