Fried Chicken, Waffles & Jazz in Harlem?

There used to be a place in Harlem that had this combination. Do any of you know what the name is? If it's still there? Is it still good? Do they take reservations? What nights do they have jazz?

Tried to google it but my computer is no "spring chicken" and the page refuses to display.

Thanks for your help.

You're looking for Amy Ruth's in Harlem, 113 W 116th St. The proprietor just opened a second branch at Mohegan Sun casino...

AHaugeto,

Thanks but actually I've never heard of that one. I'm sure it's great but the place I'm looking for begins with a "W".

I should have mentioned this to begin with.

My computer is not so old so I tried a google search for you. The one name that seems to come up a lot is the Wells Supper Club, which appears to be closed now, having been replaced by "The Harlem Grill". Is that it?

According to Google search:

Wells Supper Club (now closed)
2247 7th Ave
(132nd / 133rd)
Famous home of chicken and waffles and swing dancing...

jlm_mi & tpatricco,

That's it, that's the place! Thanks for looking it up for me. Don't know what's going on with my machine, but I still can't access google (or any other search engine for that matter) even after three reboots.

Thanks for your help, too bad it's closed.
