Since my thread keeps getting hyjacked lately I'm starting it early!

Rave: 75 degrees, brezzy, and everything is green. \/

Rant: My lawn is in the "paint the bridge" mode. I get one end done and the other end already needs mowing.

Rave': yesterday was beautiful, we dined on the garden terrace of a favorire restaurant

Rant: it's freaky friday weather we had to close windows and bring out blankets.

Rave: Having a blast planning my Oahu/Maui trip!
Rave: Nothing like an upcoming beach vacation to make me stick to Weight Watchers!
Rant: Got a second opinion on my doggies ACL surgery...1st vet told me $950.00, second vet $2500.00..sorry Pepper I love you but you are getting the "cheap" treatment!

Rave: Off to Toronto on Friday to see a Monet exhibit.
Rave: Stopping at African Lion Safari along the way.
Rant: I'm afraid the monkeys will attack our car (apparently they hop up and downon your car and are notorious for damaging windshield wipers etc)!

Rave: The way jor spelled hijacked! He he!

Rave: got a couple of great deals and am heading to Phoenix tomorrow for the weekend, so it was like Friday today.

mini-Rant: forecast for Phoenix is high of 108 and a low of 88 on Friday. Highs on Saturday of 109 to 113. So there are some reasons for the good deals. I always thought that the UV Index scale topped out at 10 - High. Was surprised to see an index of 11 - Extreme.

Rant: 90-something and humid here. whine whine.
Rave: Good friends.
The kind that stick with you..the ones that touch your heart with just simple kindnesses.
Rave: The Yankee is planning not one but two or three trips...whooppeee~

RAVE: Little granddaughters ... the sun, the sand, the sea....... and togetherness!

RAVE: Going to be 80 degrees in Raleigh tomorrow. Almost a miracle!

Rave--Picking up dh at the airport tomorrow and dropping kids at their cousins. DH has enought time to change into climbing clothes and we are off to the mountain! Meeting friends there, so nothing better...friends and climbing

Rave--At a football parents meeting earlier this week a guy recognized me from college! We were good friends then and haven't seen each other since our wedding and then lost touch...so it was quite a surprise!

Rave: will spend 6-7 weeks traveling throughout the end of the year! Countdown to Kauai 15 days

Rant: Need to lose 3 pounds before we go. Have been slacking off with my health regimen, too lazy to get my butt on the treadmill.

Rant/Rave: The Village - can't decide if I liked it or not

Rave: an old high school friend emailed me, reminding me of many happy memories from my youth

Rave: going to Tanglewood tomorrow for the Food and Wine Festival in the afternoon, and the concert that evening with YoYo Ma. Rave: I think we're going to freeze.

Rant: Still searching for the "rattlesnake family".
Rave: only 94 yesterday and 92 expected today in D.
Rant: US stock market and oil prices.
Rave: cheap Fall US air fares.
Rant: tix to MX up $30. in last 2 days.

Rave: back from a 20 day, absolutely heavenly vacation in the National Parks

Rant: Have to start saving money and vacation days so I can go to Spain.

Rave: Leaving for a 4 day trip with hubby & kids.

Rant: School starts in 20 days, where did summer go??

RANT - For those people who can't grasp the concept of the "Freaky Friday ...." The key word is FRIDAY. Not Thursday, not Saturday - FRIDAY!! Friday comes - BOOM - you post. 11:59 on Friday night (EST for purity sake) you stop posting and BEHOLD the majesty that is the FFR&R.

You start posting the "Freaky Friday.." early, next thing you know, some guy decides he wants his Freaky rants and raves WHENEVER he pleases!!! (Honestly, does Monday really qualify as Freaky? You really want a Mundane Monday Rant& Rave? Well I for one SAY - NAY!!)

When the sanctity of Friday is disregarded my friends, can ANARCHY be far behind? I implore, no BEG YOU, keep alive the spirit and purity of the "FREAKY FRIDAY RANT" and BOYCOTT, SHUN AND OSTRACIZE those who would corrupt the FFR&R for their own sinister reasons!

Um - Ryan?? Are you going to be okay??

Rave: On Sunday I get to go up to Muskoka to hear my sweetie and his choir sing a concert.
Rant: We have to get up at some ungodly hour - rehearsal is at 10:30 AM and it's a 2-hour-plus drive. On the way home we have to contend with traffic returning home after the weekend. EEK!
Rave: I love spending time with my sweetie even if it's in bumper-to-bumper traffic, so who cares?

Rant: In 3 weeks we'll be "empty nesters". I'm not ready for that! There MUST be a 'mistake' on youngest child's birth certificate!

Rant: Still can't believe now both my 'babies' will be away at college

Rave: When you write something so clearly absurd and over the top as a goof, expecting that people will realize how absurd it is, but then they take you seriously.

Rave: That we locked in our mortgage rate last week, before the interest rate rise that is about a 95% certainty for next Tuesday.
