Oh Caph, the waiting must be very difficult for you! But I am so glad to hear that your husband is getting his appetite back. Please let us know when you hear from the doctor.

You must be so incredibly proud of your daughter! What an unselfish act on her part -- sorry you had to go through such hoops to get things squared away.

Yup, I'm looking forward to being with my kids tonight. They ARE the ultimate "Odd Couple", LOL! :D You should see the look on the oldest son's face whenever the youngest talks about rooming with him!!! THAT will never happen! Not too much shocks my DH, but when he enters the youngest son's dorm room, he winces in agony, lol. I NEVER step foot in that place. Thankfully he's not as bad when he's home -- I would never stand for it! :D

Caph, I was so hoping for some good news by now. I hope you hear something soon. I am glad he is feeling better.

Thanks, stw and P_M. The waiting is tough. But I guess, to some degree, we're getting used to it! Just wish it didn't happen to be a holiday weekend as I'm sure that'll add another day. And, of course, the longer we wait for the results of these tests, the longer before he can get going on the referral and set up the bone marrow biopsy. And that's the test that will really tell the tale.

But, of course, the important thing is that, God willing, in another week or two this whole nightmare will be behind us. So it's just a matter of hanging in there a little bit longer!

The vet here says Pup is lean and perfect at 50 lbs,((&)) which is his City Weight, all that laying about in Florida made him gain..like the rest of us lol.

Yeah, Caph, a busy day the the son! Unfortunately Fordham lost by 5 points! My son was on TV last week too, but the DH and I were away and I forgot to set the VCR, lol. Fordham is rarely on TV, so it's a big deal. Now I only hope the face paint that my son had on will wash off before we go to the theater! :D

To all of you sweet people who wished my DGD and me a fun time, thank you so much! We arrived Saturday, and I saw her swim meet yesterday ... TWO medals :-d, we went out to dinner at her favorite BBQ place, watched &quot;Dinotopia&quot; last night ... Today we're watching &quot;Lord of the Rings&quot;, going shopping to buy the ingredients for S'mores, Marshmallow Fudge, and on and on. Later this week will be bowling, ice skating, swimming, lunches/dinners at her favorite places, baking a special cake that looks like a package with a bow on it (Yikes! Wish me luck, girls!) And of course, watching the Olympics figure skating as she's a skater herself! :-) For those of you who are not Grannies yet, the best is yet to come!!! ;;)

Thanks so much for asking, stw. But, unfortunately, no. This is getting very frustrating! It's been a week since the second of the two tests. The problem is that so often doctors call at the end of the day. So, of course, by the time you realize they're not going to call, it's too late to call them. By that time their phones are switched over to the service.

But my husband is going to call the office first thing tomorrow morning. I'll pull this thread back up if we find out anything.

I'm about to lose it 'cause I can't find my cell phone. I've tried calling it but it goes straight to voice mail. So the battery must have gotten low enough to shut itself off. I'm not sure how much of my frustration is the cell phone and how much is because my nerves are stretched so tight!

Hang in the Caph! Prayers and hugs -- lots of prayers and hugs to you.

Your car (under the seat, etc)
Your coat pockets
The sofa
Your handbag

Try and get some rest and the whereabouts of your phone will come to you. I know it's hard, but breathe. Keep me posted.

Oh Caph, you have every reason to be tense, I am so sorry. And I know what you mean about the Doctor's saying they will call at the end of the day and don't. So very frustrating to put it midly.

About your cell phone, have you thought back as to where you were the last time you used it? That worked for me when I couldn't find mine.

You are all in my thoughts as usual. May tomorrow bring good news dear one.
