Four Seasons/ Maui

Any comments or suggestions on the Four Seasons property in Maui? Is it beautiful? Good location, beach, how are the rooms? What type of other guest. I'm sorry to say, hopefully not over run with families with wild children everywhere. Any suggestions or comments please.

Madame, IMHO, the Four Seasons name is synonymous with discriminating taste, luxury and impeccable service worldwide.

Julie,
WE just returned from Maui. Just briefly toured the 4 seasons and thought it looked exquisite! Airy, tropical and relaxed seem to describe the atmosphere. The lobby and pool areas are gorgeous. Didn't get a chance to look at the rooms. We are considering staying there for our next trip! Saw no out of control kids while we were there. Enjoy!

Julie, I used to work at the Four Seasons. It is THE premier resort in South Maui. Exceptional Service,
service and even more SERVICE!!!

Great rooms (although pricey) good beach and wonderful location, adjoining the Grand Wailea Resort and brand new Wailea Shopping village. Typical guests are upscale, sophisticated, and return guests. Children have their own pool and activities center, and are not a problem. the hotel caters to adults. If you have the finances to spend on a luxury resort, you cannot do better than this one on Maui. I hope this helps. P.s. they are popular and fill up early.

HI Julie! I stayed @ the Four Seasons 2 years ago and LOVED it! The problem I have now is nothing compares to it! Anyway, if you can afford it...do it! The property is lovely..nothing ritzy, just very elegant and airy. The staff was always very helpful and accommodating. On the day of checkout...which was 11am and our flight was at 10pm.....I was very sick. They let us stay in our room until it was time for us to leave for the airport. They even sent me ginger ale and toast! The rooms and lanais are large and the bathroom was amazing. We were very pleased with all the extra amenities and service. Friends of ours stayed at the Kea Lani...which was also lovely....but we preferred the 4 Seasons. You won't be disappointed. Have fun!

Julie,
If you are still looking for thoughts, I have only good ones about the Four Seasons in Maui. We have been several times. Beautiful grounds, a smaller property that feels more intimate than some other resorts. The service is impeccable, and the beach is a good one, with nice snorkeling right there. Have fun!
