Four Points Sheraton D.C anybody know?

Can anyone tell me about this hotel. If you stayed on a floor you liked. Is the neihborhood safe late night? Coming in on a bus don't near Union station. Don't know if I will be in a bad neighborhood. I only paid $59 internet so I am concerned.

I have never been inside the hotel but it's brand new, so I would assume the rooms are fairly nice. I know the location - it's downtown, among mostly office buildings. The neighborhood is not unsafe late at night, but there are hardly any people and very little traffic around (unless you go up to Massachusetts Ave.), so I would be cautious if you're walking. By the way, Corduroy (the hotel restaurant) is supposed to be quite good.

The bus station is near N.Capitol and H, so that would be about 14 blocks or roughly 1.4 miles to 12th & K. Take a taxi ($6) from the bus station unless you arrive at mid-day -- that area is not very pretty after dark, and the Metro will be very crowded during weekday rush hours. Enjoy your stay!
I concur with Kristin's comments on the hotel.

Kate:
I looked into this hotel when making reservations last December.
I changed my reservations after reading a few posts here.
When I arrived, I was glad we decided not to stay there. It is on the outskirts of everything and the surrounding area was not very nice. Good luck!
