>>Do you all happen to know if the route of the Pacific Heights Mansion tour is similar to the Victorian SF tour?

Tough call !

If you are a big fan of Victorian Houses - then I would choose one of the "Victorian" walks.

I think the most informative tour is "Victorian San Francisco". However, IF (big IF) the stars are "lined up" - "Landmark Victorians of Alamo Square" often starts with a tour of the interior of one of the most "outrageous" Victorians in San Francisco. In fact, an "architecture" magazine called it one of the best interiors in the US. You will also visit "Postcard Row" - but every bus tour stops there too.

The Pacific Heights walk has lots of "rich/elegant" houses on the tour. You'll see the homes of Getty, Feinstein, Larry Ellison, British Consulate, Daneille Steele, and other "rich & famous" people (Daneille Steele's house is also featured on the "Victorian San Francisco" tour. When we took the tour about 8 years ago, we saw Robin Williams picking up his child from school.

stu...you mentioned Bonita for sandwiches on one of these threads. I can't seem to find it. Didn't you say it's in Half Moon Bay?

I owe everyone a trip report! We did have some good food, but not as much fish as I was expecting. The Ferry Building was awesome!
