Oh. No. Mr.GoTravel just called and he's in bed; scratchy throat, tired, chills, etc.

Yuck. I hope it isn't the flu.

I woke up this morning quite ill. Same systems but have bad stomach pains also. So sick I forgot I have an appointment at the beauty salon.

They (the news media) have been reporting the flu is very bad in California..I guess so.

Hope everyone recovers from this real soon.

Our doctor did tell us when using Zicam, to not use the nasal Zicam, but rather the spray mist in the mouth.

I had the real flu once. The doctor tested me and confirmed it. It felt different than any other sickness I'd ever had. You can tell if you have the flu or just a regular cold this way ... if you feel like you are going to die then you have the flu, if you don't then you have something else. And I had my flu shot that year so supposedly I had a milder version. Tamiflu had me feeling better within three days. The symptoms I remember the most was an excruciating headache, chills, very high fever, body aches. Getting an RX for Vicodin was the only thing I looked forward to that week.

Bodi,

A 4 week illness requires medical attention. Have you consulted a dr?

Hope you feel better.

Back in 1999 I was the first person to request Tamiflu at my local hospital. No one in the emergency room even knew what it was (it was on a Saturday) On Monday morning I found a doctor who had some for me and my symptoms were gone by the end of the day. I shortened the flu by about four or five days. I could not believe how well it worked and I have been telling people about it for the past six years. Now it is a household name and very hard to get!
