Hello we are looking at going to South Carolina in the middle of May. We are looking for oceanfront condo(1bed) and golfing. How is the weather that time of year? How long should we go for? Resturants too. Thanks in advance, I'm sure I will have more questions too

Golfing? You are probably talking about Myrtle Beach. The weather should be in the low to mid-80's, and all the golfers should be returning back up North.

Do a google search on Myrtle Beach golfing and you will find all kinds of golf packages, accommodations, etc.

As far as restaurants go, they are too numerous to list. Plenty of all-you-can-eat seafood, as well as those scattered all over the Grand Strand. Let us know what you are interested in and we can give you some recommendations.

Hilton Head is a great oceanfront community with golf and tennis. We used islandgetaway.com for our rental of an oceanfront condo/villa. I would highly recommend using them again. We went in June a couple of years ago and the water was so warm, it must have been in the 80's. I would also say the weather should be nice and warm without being too sticky in May. There are many good restaurants on the Island and we spent a week in our condo.

I suggest you consider Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes resort complex. Golf, history, shopping, swimming and great restaurants.
