I'm going to New York this summer and would like to know if this is a good place to shop and what clothing items or brands they have. Any info on this would be great!

Yeah, Kate, there is a store you can shop at in New York, just one. All the others are restricted to just New Yorkers. But you're lucky, I think that one store is just what you're looking for. So, c'mon down!

Find Outlet carries a lot of very up-to-the-minute brands - I think they change depending on what other places have overstocked or what manufacturers have made too much of, but it's definitely a good spot for finding cool stuff. There's one in Nolita now, too, which is north of little italy - i think it's on Elizabeth but am not positive. Check under citysearch.newyork.com for more info, under their SHOPPING section.

Sounds like you are looking specifically for an outlet mall. If so, the best one, IMO, is Woodbury Commons in Central Valley, NY. It's about an hour or so from the City. They have everything from apparel to kitchenware. You will find most high end designer outlets at Woodbury Commons.
