feeling safe in kauai

my wife and i are going to be married 25years in nov. and are planning on going to kauai was wanting to know how you were treated and if felt safe there by the people.

Are you kidding? Kauai is one of the safest islands. The residents there are so nice and down-to-earth! It's very rural compared to Oahu and Maui.

Woody,
I agree with Melissa. But, what have you heard that would concern you?

The only "bad treatment" we have received there over our past 10 stays was a business not being open when it says it will be!

But hey, it's Hawaiian time, bragh!

Most of the businesses that treat people poorly (their own staff and customers)aren't around for long. News travels fast on small island..

If he's never been to Hawaii, how would he know?

Kauai is very safe, full of friendly, helpful people everywhere you go. It's a quiet, semi-rural island that may just be the most exotic place you'll see anywhere in the US.
