Fed Ex Tour in Memphis
Has anyone ever been on a tour of the FedEx Super Hub in Memphis? How do you get reservations/appointments? Where do you go to get in?
I have read somewhere that they offer tours, but I have scoured the FedEx website and the Internet and can't find anything

is there a particular reason why you would want to do this??
I work for Fed Ex and can't imagine anyone NOT related to shipping packages business would be remotely interested. I only like visiting because it helps me understand my IT job ;-)
BUT I can ask around....

I like factory tours and this would be similar. The tour I've heard about starts at midnight or thereabouts and shows the madness and flurry as all the planes land and take back off in those few hours as the pkgs are sorted

I can't answer your question but my father told me never to get a cheap motel near the Memphis airport. He had no idea there would be flights all night, thanks to FedEx (although we do appreciate what they do). Next morning he moved downtown.

I asked around the office...nobody seems to know anything about it...someone suggested you email or call the main offices in Memphis. They may have done it in the past but for security reasons have stopped????
At this point it might be employees only.

Hey..we didn't do Fed Ex. I don't know if I dreamed that they did it or what, but I thought you could do a midnight tour. From scouring the internet some more, I did find tours for Business School groups, but that's about it.
