With the world suddenly my oyster, I'd try to remind myself money doesn't mean everything -- only a tremendous amount of power until the day the Grim Reaper appears and won't bargain for oyster shells. Vacations can be like punctuation marks in your life, setting off where one piece of your life pauses and another begins.
