Favorite: Burger King--especially since they've improved their fries. Taco Bell--I know, I know. But you can't do much damage with a bean burrito, and I can feed the whole family dirt cheap there.

Least Favorite: McDonalds, Arby's, Wendy's burgers (square and gray???).

Favorite: Wendy's or Burger King - but we're talking specific ones, not in general

Least Favorite: McDonald's - even my children won't eat at McDonald's. If they're hungry, they want Burger King. They DO like the McD's toys, tho!

Differences between Long John Silvers and Captain D's:
1. Long John Silvers batter-dips their fish, while Captain D's is breaded.
2. I got food poisoning once from Long John Silvers, but I've never been sick from eating at Captain D's.

Tako Belle. I used to work there
Very nutritious actually. There's only
354 calories in a bean burrito, and 189
calories in an average taco. It's a great diet fastfood.
Oh, that's the best.
THE WORST IS MCDonald's is your kind of place, they feed you rattlesnakes, stick french fries between your toes, squirt mustard and kechup up your nose.
The last time I was there, they stole my underwear, Mac-Donalds-is-my-kiiiind-
of place.
Remember that one from grammar school?

I'm a major fast food consumer.

FAVES: All things Mexican at Del Taco, better and cheaper than Taco Bell, but I love that too. I found two magical treats at Taco Bell as I worked there, nacho cheese on anything, and a regular bean burrito with green sauce (no red) and sour cream, Also big on Wendy's $.99 Chili and Carl's Jr.

EVIL: McDonalds makes me sick every six months when I go there for 2 for $2 Big Macs after I forget it made me sick six months ago.
White Castle? Leftover Apollo mission rations? Worst ever.

Sally:

The Frisco Melts at Steak & Shake are the best. If you havent tried it yet, I highly recommend it. I get it every time I go there - and I usually hate Swiss cheese. Yummy, I'm getting hungry now.

As bad it is for you health, I love Wendy's burgers when they are hot and greasy. Yum! McDonalds - I like their fries, but the quality of their meat, yuck. Steak and Shake has the best burgers. Taco, I stopped eating when I found out they used grade F meat.(last I heard, they miight of changed it) Burger King fries I don't like much since they changed.Don't really have a favorite place but that is what I like and dislike on the ones I go to.

Best: In-n-Out
Worst: McDonald's.

Question: Why is McDonald's ALWAYS busy if so many people hate the food?!!?

Faves-although-none-of-it-tastes-good-lately-and-that's-probably-a-good-thing: Wendy's, Boston Market, Subway (if I catch them on a good day: the bread is fresh and the employee understands the meaning of "easy on the mayo.")

Worst: Count me among the McDonalds haters. Now that I have kids I force myself to go occasionally. That's why they're always so crowded; kids haven't developed discerning taste buds yet. Ever since I made the connection as a teen that their french fries taste the same way my brother smelled after a hockey game, I've been anti-McDonalds.

AND, I hate that Burger King is so cheap they keep the napkins behind the counter and you have to ask for them. I need a minimum of three when I eat.

Years and years ago, oh, I'd say maybe around 1965, when a McDonald's hamburger was only $.15 (!), it really WAS a delicious burger, believe it or not! But today? H O R R I B L E!!! (Does anybody else from that era remember them being very good?)

Though I agree with all the poor ratings McDonald's has received, McDonald's has two redeeming qualities which helps it retain what market share they have. One, they have diaper changing stations. I have two kids still in diapers and it is helpful to change them in the bathroom rather than in the car or eating table. Two, almost all McDonald's has a playland. Though I live within 1 1/2 hours of Ocean City, MD, my wife and I prefer Topsail Beach, NC, a nine hour drive. A 45 minute visit at a McDonald's playland is a good break for young children who have been couped up in car seats for four or more hours at a time. With three toddlers, a McDonald's playland stop is a godsend.

I am truly addicted to Burger King's flame-broiled taste. For me, McDonald's can't even compare. Wendy's has great chili and a decent chicken salad that comes with a breadstick for a good price- I generally feel like I haven't overindulged after I eat at Wendy's.

Worst by far is Kentucky Fried Chicken. It's gotta be the greasiest food in the world!

Oh, and the correct nickname for White Castle burgers is "sliders".

Why anyone would go to Macdonalds to eat is beyond me. Even in the States they're dire. On a positive note anyone who likes English pies should go to June's Home Bake, St Helens Road, Bolton UK.

Dear Mel: Yes I do remember that different 1965 McDonald's. There used to be one at my high school bus stop and the fries were 15 cents an order as well. They still have very good fries, but I can not fathom the desire for all the rest. Sliders were and are the 24 hour fix of many Chicagoans. Greasy and full of onion (formerly dehydrated) they are the only thing for a 3am or later, night after "fix-up." Most of the younger generation just doesn't get it.
Thank God.
Other than milk shakes and liquid food
(YUK)- the only thing I could eat through several jaw operations was White Castles. They are so greasy and
porous that you can suck them through the crack between your upper and lower teeth, even with your mouth wired. You don't need to chew them either as they
are so flimsy that they almost melt.
Taught the nurses a few things that they have passed on to others over the years. Sure beat pablum.

As long as I don't have to cook it,I'm not too picky...
favorites:
--Arbys (love those cheddar fries)
--Taco Bell (cheap, fast and decent food)
--McDonalds (call me sentimental but I still love this place--yeah, I do remember the good old days and I think the food's still pretty good, especially the fries)

least favorite:
--Burger King (seems like my burger is undercooked half the time--e coli city)
