Fantastiks

Is there any point in seeing this again? Has anyone seen it this time around? I was thinking of taking my daughter. Thanks!

There's a reason it holds the record for longest running show. It is still a marvelous show in its simplicity. I first saw it when I was in high school and have probably seen at leat 15 or 20 productions, some much better than others, but all enjoyable.

Major discounts are available from Broadway Box if you aren't aware.

Can't say I saw as often as NeoPatrick, but pretty close and I understand this is an updated version.. Just a piece of trivia....Jerry Orbach was in the original... Take your daughter...it has/had much to say to you both..

In addition to Jerry Orbach, I was blown away by Rita Gardner as the feisty grandmother in Broadway's The Wedding Singer recently. She was the original "girl" in The Fantasticks when it opened in 1960.

ParrotMom, interesting. That's the first I've heard of this being an "updated" version, but I'm anxious to see it.
