I found a great family restaurant in Las Vegas. It is called "Pizza Palace" in the Imperial Palace/hotel casino. The Imperial palace doesn't look all that great compared to the other casinos, but on the 5th floor are several restaurants and the Pizza Palace is superb. You can get real (not franchise) pizza for the family by the slice, personal or whole pies. They also serve spaghetti and other italian dishes. My 4 year old loved the spaghetti and the waiter brought her out a smaller serving. This was the cheapest meal we had, 6 of us ate for $30.00/That's including Beer......Go and try it out.

The coffee shop at the Barbary Coast center strip is good but I wouldn't say cheap. For good and cheap, eat at the Gold Coast Buffet. It's next door to the Rio, off the strip, but there is a free shuttle bus from the Barbary Coast every half hour.

Just got back from Vegas 2 days ago. We ate at the Excalibur Buffet one night, lured by the relatively cheap price. No alcohol is served.....it is a real "cafeteria" environment, noisy, no pretentions. Good for kids, but not a good place for a special occasion dinner!

The Rainforest Cafe (in the MGM Grand) isn't cheap but kids will love it!
