Fall Colors

Rather than go to New England again I thought we might try NC. Onaverage what is the peak leaf season near Ashville? Is late October eg 10/26 too late?

Thanks

We just got back from the Ashville and southern North Carolina area and all I can say is "Wow". The Ashville area was a little more colorful than southern NC but both are worth the trip. I felt like every turn in the road was a picture post card. The weather was beautiful on the weekend and I didn't want to leave. Go soon.
