What nasty people! Thanks, Jennifer, for subjecting yourself to this abuse to warn the rest of us. I haven't booked on Expedia, but very well might in the future, so I appreciate your cautionary post. It is so easy when you're bogged down in arranging travel details, to overlook a crucial point.

This site as really hit bottom. Jennifer, thanks for the reminder (and for reminding me to avoid Fodor's).

It would be great if Fodor's moderated this site a little more closely, because the negative postings have gotten completely out of hand.

$25 is a pretty reasonable fee for cancellation. Everyones really needs to look at the fine print for any air/hotel reservation, sometimes there is NO refund at all - you can get lose the full amount if you're not careful.
