Expedia Cancellation Fees!

I just got charged 25.00 for cancelling my hotel reservations two months in advanced. I really must've overlooked that very fine print.<BR><BR>Damn!<BR><BR>JC

Man, this site has gotten mean-spirited! Sorry, Jennifer about your luck. You really need to take a closer look next time at all of the terms and conditions before you make a reservation. Thanks for alerting the rest of us to this risk.<BR><BR>Duane

What nasty people! Thanks, Jennifer, for subjecting yourself to this abuse to warn the rest of us. I haven't booked on Expedia, but very well might in the future, so I appreciate your cautionary post. It is so easy when you're bogged down in arranging travel details, to overlook a crucial point.

Thanks, Jennifer, for the heads-up. There is no excuse for the verbal abuse that followed your post. I wish people didn't feel free to speak to anybody that way. It's hurtful and totally unnecessary.

This site as really hit bottom. Jennifer, thanks for the reminder (and for reminding me to avoid Fodor's). <BR><BR>It would be great if Fodor's moderated this site a little more closely, because the negative postings have gotten completely out of hand.

$25 is a pretty reasonable fee for cancellation. Everyones really needs to look at the fine print for any air/hotel reservation, sometimes there is NO refund at all - you can get lose the full amount if you're not careful.
