Entertainment book

Just got back from Hawaii and I had purchased the book and the only coupon I used was for the Zoo, I would like to do like others and give it for free for anyone that has plans to visit the island before it expires, please send me an email with your address so I can forward to anyone that may want it. My email is [email protected]. I will mail it by the end of the week.

Thanks for this post. It expresses my experience with the Entertainment book and why I stopped buying them.

I bought one for Vegas, and only used two coupons. Though since I only paid $10.- for the book a couple weeks before my trip, I more than paid for the book.

My son was selling them as a school fundraiser so I bought one. Ours had a coupon for 5% off any American Airlines flight. I used it for our trip to Barcelona and saved $160. I guess that makes up for all the years I bought them and never used s single coupon.

I had points from a hotel stay enough only for an entertainment book. It was useless for me as I was by myself, and most of the coupons, if not all, were 2 for 1. Yes, I asked if I can have at least 25% discount with such a coupon, NO!!

But it was not wasted, I shared with others

Nice offer colombia! I don't buy a book unless I plan to use the coupons, so it has never been a waste. One lift ticket coupon covered the cost of the book. I have probably saved a couple hundred dollars this year.

This is why I want to give it away in hopes someone can take advantage of it, years ago it did make a difference but, today and priceline (thank God for priceline) even with the discounts they offer, your better off (at least I am) making bids. Hope someone can take it. Have a great day
Gina.

We're planning Hawaii in August. I called Entertainment and was told if I buy a 2008 book for $30, I could get the 2007 book for free, just pay $5 for postage. I ordered 2 books (going with family)and paid $40 for three books. The only catch was that I had to order the Hawaii 2008 book. But not to worry-after I received the 2 2007 Hawaii books, I called and cancelled the 2008 book and ordered one for where I live. (Told to do that by the telephone operator) It worked.

Darn, mrscpa! I would have gladly taken that 2008 Hawaii book off your hands and used it for our trip in November Glad you could get a book for your area. There is no entertainment book for where I live in NC.

Does the 2007 book run for the calendar 2007 year?

I see they are only $9.99 at the moment and I wondered if there was a catch.

We loved the Hawaii entertainment book and used several coupons. One was a rent one, get one free for kayak rentals. Saved us about $70 in Kaneohe. I think we also used one at Dole Pineapple and several food ones.

I'd be interested in anything that is for meals on Kauai. We will be there from April 6-11.

NeoPatrick and Lee are going to Hawaii in September for a month. He's trying to keep the budget reasonable, so he might like to have your Entertainment book. He has a thread going now, called something like Hawaii After All.

Beth--We are headed to Hawaii the last week of this month, just to Oahu. I can send you the rest of the entertainment book when we return if you like. Just let me know

Thanks, Mambo, for thinking of us, but I suspect colombiana has gotten rid of the book sometime in the past 9 months!

Patrick

Because the coupons in the books expire November 1, they will discount the books.

After mid May, they will be about $10 + $ shipping. Thats about as low as they go.

You can also print 3 free coupons:

We had good luck with the Entertainment Book; we went to Maui for our honeymoon, and there was a 50% off coupon for our hotel in it. We saved $1,600.
