If you like sushi check out the Bellagio. The best in the world. Well, it should be considering it is the most expensive hotel in the world. Prices are a tad more, but it's worth it.

Yes, its worth it. The best steak my husband has ever had. They hover a bit too much for my liking, but the food and wine were wonderful. All of the steaks are served with a sauce (you pick from about four sauces) and we asked them to bring them all to sample. A little pricey but wonderful for special occasion.

You might want to consider a good, inexpensive lunch at Emeril's. I had a shrimp po'boy at the bar and can recommend it (or the oyster po'boy) as a great, filling, inexpensive lunch , without any need for reservations or waiting for a table.

Maggie, careful, there are now 2 Emeril's in Las Vegas. The 1st is inthe MGM but he opened a new one in the Venetian. The one in the Venetian appeared to be more of a Steakhouse than his original.
We really enjoyed a new one- Smith & Wollensky's. It's accross from the Monte Carlo. An expansion of a really fine New York Steakhouse. Can't go wrong there. We ate there twice on last trip.

We ate supper at Emerils (MGM) three days ago. Terrific seafood ... so terrific we returned for lunch the next day just to have their gumbo again (authentic & delicous). We also highly recommend the Coyote Grill, also in the MGM.
(The MGM Grand could easily be the ugliest hotel on the strip but both these up-scale restaurants are lovely & quiet worth the price ... our quide book cited them as two of the best in LV.) Enjoy!

It's not bad but not one of his better restaurants (I've eaten at 3 others). I'd recommend the coyote grill (Paul Miller restaurant) at the MGM.The prices and food are much more palatable.

Mark Miller's Coyote Grill in the MGM is wonderful. The bar/lounge also has a lighter menu with a delicious steak and also wonderful vegetarian dishes. You can sit and watch the parade of people go by. At Emeril's I love the Fall River (?) Chowder. It is wonderful.
