Is cost an issue? As I remember,Silverado is at least twice the cost of Embassy Suites.Otherwise, I cant see it less than a 1-star to 5-star compariosn,Silverado being the 5-star.Just MHO, though.I am a big fan of Embassy Suites, dont get me wrong. They're great, fabulous. But this is not the usual comparison.

Skip both of these. The ES is the same
as in any other town. Nothing special.
The Siverado and be good or bad depending on the unit you get. They are
all individually decorated by the owners and we had a terrrible unit. Looked like dorm room decor. Try something in St. Helena or Yountville for more charm and Napa Valley style.

My husband had to stay at the Embassy Suites Napa on business for quite a few days. He said it was just okay and it was certainly not a place he really enjoyed. Unless you really need an Embassy Suites type hotel for some reason, I'd look further for something more charming. Just like Jenn said. I'm not familiar with the Silverado Ranch.

Beach Boi, Jenn and Miranda-
Thank you for the input. I am leaning towards the Silverado Ranch, but never being there needed some advice.
Thanks- also I will check out some more before finalizing...any other suggestions would be helpful.
