Eating places near Doubletree Suites on Broadway

We are looking for some reasonable quick-stop and go eating places near the Doubletree Suites on 47th St. and 7th Avenue. Any suggestions, especially for breakfasts? Thanks for the advice.

There are any number of fast food places within a five minute walk of the Doubletree. There is, I think, a Macdonalds at 46th Street, same side as the Doubletree. If it is not on 46th it is not more than two blocks from the hotel.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like we will be just fine. Want to see lots of sights, and not spend much time on eating breakfasts.

Stay on 47th Street and walk toward Eighth Avenue. The Edison Hotel, on your left, has a cafe with good, fast, CHEAP breakfasts. Just enter the lobby and turn immediately to the left.

Bacon, eggs and toast in two minutes, for less than $4 (if you skip the combo-with-juice), just a half-block from your hotel. Life is good!

Ash you won't have a problem finding what you are looking for in that area, it is a big touist area of the city and there are stores, and restaurants of every kind you can think of.

A favorite is Pomme Fritts on 7th Ave around 50th? St. Ok, so I know where it is, not sure of the exact location, but the best fries around, with different kinds of dips. The kids will love it.

There are a couple of Donut places in the area and of course ice cream, it's hot here.

Have a great time.

When we stayed at the Doubletree, they had a couple of very good concierge that helped direct us in the right direction...sure they can give you some ideas.
