Eating in and around Little River, CA

We'll be heading over to the coast next month and would appreciate recommendations for restaurants in and near Little River/Mendocino. Anything from good burgers to special meals at special places--thanks.

Little River Inn has a restaurant and a pub w/ food. But it is a very short drive to Mendocino so you have the choices of everything there.

I like Trillium, and Flow - there is always the Mendocino Cafe, and Patterson's Pub.

Then its just another 10 miles up to Ft Bragg.

Be sure to visit the Botanical Gardens (they have a casual cafe on site)

Man, it's been a long time since I've been there. Loved that place. Played a few rounds at their golf course, too. Our friends Kim and Mary are staying there sometime this month for a few days.

maitai: I love the main bldg rooms at Little River - for moderate room rates you get the two rockers on the balcony and unobstructed views.

We plan to stay there, and also one night at Glendeven. Can't miss visiting the llamas and chickens.

The Mendocino Café's menu is very tempting. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bookmarking -- we will be spending 2 nights at Little River Inn in a couple of months, and so gathering restaurants and things to do/see in the area.
