Go to www.disboards.com for anything you want to know at WDW & other Orlando attractions (Seaworld, Universal Studios). Everyone there is very helpful, unlike here. Most are travel snobs & will not offer much help about WDW. Also, www.wdwig.com has menus from all of the restaurants at WDW (parks & resorts), including prices! Counter service is hit or miss, mostly miss. Toy story pizza at MGM was very good & Peco's Bill at MK was good, but sooo crowded at noon (waited 15min just to order). If you are going off-season I guess it won't be too bad. Have a great time!

I'm not sure what boards Kathy has read because there is a wealth of information on WDW here at Fodors. Sue, I just completed my 20th trip to WDW (and preparing for 21). Deciding where to eat is a highlight of our trips. Some of our favorites include Restaurant Akershus at Norway in Epcot - they have a great buffet, Restaurant Marrakesh at Morocco, and the restaurant at Germany (the food is very heavy there, so you have to be really hungry). The bakery at Norway is also great for snacks or quick, open faced sandwiches. We also ate on this past trip at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge which was a first for us. The food was delicious and the atmosphere a lot of fun. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge but did not eat at its restaurants. However, the smells coming from them were great. I have heard rave reviews about Boma. On the Boardwalk, we have also enjoyed Spoodles which serves Mediterranean food. There are so many choices. Check out www.wdwig.com for more info on restaurants and other Disney things. It is probably one of the best sites for Disney info. Oh, regarding the cost, yes it can be pricey. You may want to get a Disney club membership prior to your trip, if you have time. It gives you discounts on park tickets, hotels and on some dining options. The dining discounts aren't that great, but hey, every bit counts. The other discounts, however, are good. Also, if you are staying at one of the resorts on property, make sure you get the refillable mugs. They are about 8.95 apiece and allow you unlimited refills on drinks at your hotel. You may also want to consider a refrigerator in the room ($10/day) and keep some breakfast items and snacks on hand. Have fun!

If you go to www.wdwig.com you can find a list of the menus for all the restaurants.

I, too, wonder about 21 trips. And the fact that the exact number is known.

Maybe WDW comps you after ten or so...kind of like a Vegas casino.

Makes the travel planning easy, as well.

Now I'm starting to get concerned. I've never been once. Is there some transcendental experience I've missed in my life? Actually, I'm sure there is something earthshaking I've not experienced.

I just didn't realize it might be in Orlando....

First, the 20 trips have been since 1972, not all in the past few years. I happen to have family who remember how many times we were there when I was young. Nothing extraordinary there. Second, my husband and I enjoy Disney. We actually have fun there. Third, since last year my husband organizes an annual soccer tournament there, resulting in a yearly trip for us. Fourth, it is not the only travel destination for us. We are fortunate to be able to take multiple vacations each year - next year it will be 3. So yes, contrary to popular belief, people who enjoy Disney also enjoy all the other wonderful things to see and do in this country and world. Our lives are not cultural voids. Any other questions which are really no one's concern?
