In reading Jenni's reply it appears that the US forum is the default forum for Australia. Perhaps it is the default forum for all areas.

Thanks for your concurrence Rex. You were exactly right in your assumptions that I had jumped onto the site and in a moment of great excitement had just posted away without checking which forum. It seems that as Fodors is an American co. the default is to the US forum - fair enough too. I am really enjoying chatting with you all but from now on will make sure all my posts are on the Europe forum so look forward to talking to some of you there.
