Driving from Missoula to Many Glacier Hotel

Looked on Google Maps and they suggest the fastest route is to take the GTTSR through the Glacier NP. We will be traveling on July 30th and I'm wondering if the GTTSR is still under major construction and maybe we would be better off taking another route to get to Many Glacier.

I gave you good directions via Browning on May 16 in your other thread. Wait until the next day to drive the GTTS.
Ride an old Jammer if you get the chance.

There will be MINOR construction on the east side of GTTS however the longest wait will be 20 minutes and it'll be the most scenic wait you'll ever have.

Why are you driving from Missoula when almost all of the worthy sights are on the east side of the park?

If you don't have planes tickets yet I'd consider Calgary.
