If you have a car, it would be better to drive to
Trenton train station and pick up Amtrak train there
for NYC. That way, you're always going in a
northerly direction instead of going south into
Phila. just to head north again.
Drive from Phila to Bucks County via I-95; get
off at Woodhaven Blvd.

The best way to get current information about
transportation, lodging, sights, etc. is to contact
the Bucks County Tourist Commission. They are the
authorities, they are really helpful, and they are
on the web at http://www.bctc.org/. Good luck,
enjoy your trip.

Doylestown is lovely; I would recommend the Widow Brown's B & B there. I don't have the number anymore since I have relocated to the west coast, but I know it is in the book. If you get a chance, try to get to New Hope to see the local artists. It is just a hop from Doylestown. Have fun!
