Does everyone in Calif. have the Flu?

Just talked to several family members who are all down with some sort of flu? What's going around down there? I'd like to know.

uh - this a a VERY big state. Here in No. Calif. there was an article in the major daily just yeaterday that there had been hardly any flu reported by any of the hospitals/medical centers and(knock on wood) it's been a very light flu season so far . . . .

There has been some kind of stomach flu making the rounds, reported on the news as hitting nursing homes especially hard.

Everyone in KY is sick, but I'm not convinced it's flu! My cousin is working in Santa Barbara for 6 weeks and he says everyone he is working with is sick.

Yes, I'm in No. CA also and I've heard of very little flu. Only heals colds. Yes I'm knocking on wood with Janis.

QM2 is going to San Francisco, or maybe docked already, so the passengers will bring the Norovirus ashore They did have an outbreak per new channels.

Most of my co-workers had missed at least 2-3 days in January. Also friends and relatives. Some kind of flu, perhaps. But it happens every winter, right?

I'm a teacher in NorCal and have had a LOT of sick students/staff. Mostly the sinus/head cold (I really don't want to know about the other stuff). Absenteeism of about 20%!
