1st week of Jan should be a great time holiday crowds are gone by then. As far as what to wear, bring bathing suit and a great jacket Ive been swimming that week and Ive froze my UNW off at that time too. Eitherway guaranteed it wont snow! Have a great time.

It can go down to 30 degrees F in January, but can also be much warmer. The pools on Disney property are heated. This is a great time, you will not have to stand in long lines to get on attractions! Yes, bring bathers and long trousers and jacket, too. Have a wonderful time!

We went in February and it was just a tad too cold for us to swim. Although we did see other families swimming. We did have a great time relaxing by the water though when we needed a break from the parks.
I gotta say though - the lines were great. Very short. Hardly ever a wait. That's the real reason to go during the off season. Have fun!

We were there this past January 6-10 and it was very cold (40 farenheit)during the day and dropped drastically at night.
Two years ago in January, it was 75-80 degrees farenheit and we were at the pool everyday.
You never know during this time but the lines will be short and it should be dry.
