Disney World Theme Park Tickets

Has anyone purchased WDW theme park tickets at a Disney Store? I was wondering if you saved any money and if they were the same price as online right from the Disney Web site. The advantage would be that I could just pick them up and not have them mailed. I live about 1 1/4 hrs. away from a Disney store.

I haven't bought them at a Disney store. I usually get them from AAA. If you are a member, they discount WDW tickets.

I bought a pass this past Jan.from the Disney website, at a discount from the gate price. Then when I got there I went to a special pickup spot (guest services I believe)showed my E-receipt and got my ticket! No wait in line at all! Very convenient for last minute travel plans.

Disney has some kind of discount when you buy your tickets in advance directly through them. The Disney Store is no longer owned by Disney - I don't know what kind of deals they have. ticketmania.com and mapleleaftickets.com both offer discounted tickets and come highly recommended. We used ticketmania for La Nouba tickets and it went smoothly.

We went a couple weeks ago and I thougt I saw a computer Kiosk at the Transportation Center at MAgic Kingdom, where you could walk up and buy tickets. No one was there. Might be easier then driving to the DIsney store.

we have been to disney (orlando) 4 times, & have never bought tickets from a disney store, they are more expensive!
go on line & check prices at different sellers you will be amazed at how cheap they can be, & don't worry about not actually having tickets, only an E receipt, it is exchanged at the park entrance. & you definately know those tickets are for real, not already used ones !
